Our Story

Founder Marissa Jaynes

Event Ready Beauty was founded by Marissa Jaynes, a licensed cosmetologist with a decade of experience in the beauty industry. After earning her license, Marissa discovered her passion focused on styling and glam services rather than the traditional full service salon.

She began her journey at a top style bar in Massachusetts in 2016, sharpening her skills and signature approach. In 2019, she transitioned into freelance work, offering on-site beauty services for weddings and special events.

At Event Ready Beauty, Marissa and her team focus on delivering long-lasting, customized hair and makeup along with a smooth, personal experience from start to finish. Bridal clients receive a personalized proposal, preparation guidance, a tailored trial, and attentive support all the way to the start of their ceremony. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of being part of hundreds of weddings, milestones, and unforgettable moments. Each client we serve becomes part of our story, and we are grateful to be apart of theirs.
